Our materials are dyed with flavorless human grade food dye to prevent birds from swallowing parts of the toy. All items used in manufacture of our toys are safe and we only choose the best products and materials on the market but remember, no toy is 100% safe. Always watch how your bird plays with all toys and check daily for wear and tear that may pose hazards. This is just safe practice which should become a habit.
